  • First Agreement - Be Impeccable With Your Word. Being impeccable with your word involves being true to yourself and not doing, saying or believing anything that can cause you harm.
  • Third Agreement - Don’t Make Assumptions. When we assume, we create our own reality based on our beliefs. The only way to combat assumptions is to ask questions, to clarify anything we don’t understand. When we eliminate misunderstandings, we are able to live more
    freely.
  • Second Agreement - Don’t Take Anything Personally. Not taking anything personally involves understanding that all of us are most conscious of ourselves and that others are focused on themselves rather than on us.
  • Fourth Agreement - Always Do Your Best. Do your best based on where you are mentally, physically, and spiritually at the time. When you do your best, nothing more, nothing less, you are making good on this agreement.
